Ministerie van Gezondheid, Mileu en Natuur GMN

In this project, the harmonious blend of architecture and art takes center stage. The vision of Ministerie van Gezondheid, Milieu en Natuur (GMN) was to craft a workspace that not only aligns with their mission but also places the well-being and comfort of their employees at the forefront. In this remarkable journey, I had the honor of spearheading the creation of several environmental graphic designs. These designs have not only breathed new life into our workspace but have also added a layer of vibrancy and purpose to our surroundings.

Transforming GMN's Workspace with Environmental Graphic Designs

In collaboration with 4C Architecture, we found a solution to enhance the interior design of GMN's new office, incorporating environmental graphic designs that fostered a welcoming and immersive atmosphere that resonated with employees and visitors.

The Challenge

One of the challenges was to seamlessly combine art with architecture.

Outcome

An impressive mural at the entrance with the themes of health, environment, and nature - all in line with GMN's identity.
Environmental Glass Designs: Designed with a minimalist approach yet inspiring, we added various glass designs that created a sense of balance in the space.
Breakout Area with Associated Mural: Finally, in the breakout area, an additional mural was created to provide a fresh lunch experience.

Environmental graphic design is the use of graphic elements such as typography, color, imagery, and textures to curate and enhance the experience people have within a space of the new GMN location in Curacao.
