Hof van Justitie

 
Hof van Justitie is the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustastius and Saba. It has been located in the historical monument from the Hof for 150 years. It is not only a place for justice, but also a place where the employees feel connected and developed an emotional attachment to the building. Unfortunately, since the building is very old, it creates health issues for its employees. But now, its time for a change! The Hof van Justitie is looking to move into a newer, more modern building and wants to bring his employees along.
 

A strategic relocation communication plan and indoor design

 

The challenge 

The goal of this project was to create a creative strategic concept to successfully implement this transformation. The Hof wanted to include the employees in the relocation process to the new building. 

The big question was: how do you take the employees along with such a transformation process? For this to be done successfully it is important to keep the employees well informed. 

The Hof took this challenge in the form of a strategic relocation and communication plan.

Solution

Official information, stories and consistent updates were provided to communicate this process properly in the form of a weekly digital newsletter. 

In order to create a positive experience throughout this transformational process, a narrative was created: 
“Hof ta bai bin”. Translated, “Hof ta bai bin” stands for Hof will be back. 

Through this narrative, the creative concept followed in all forms. Starting from re-designing  the logo to creating the biggest billboards.

Official information, stories and consistent updates were provided to communicate this process properly in the form of a weekly digital newsletter and progress video's about the relocation.
 

Next phase:

Environmental graphic design is the use of graphic elements such as typography, color, imagery, and textures to curate and enhance the experience people have within a space of the new Hof van Justitie in Curacao.
